A huge thank you to everyone who made it to our networking event on Wednesday 27th November 2024 at The Old School House in Boscombe
.
We had a smorgasbord of writers and authors along, including:
someone who is at the very beginning of their writing journey;
poets;
an editor, a publisher and, a translator;
a memoir writer who has just finished their book;
someone who has just had their book cover designed and is getting ready for launch in March.
Lovely conversations so thank you all for being a part of the evening.
We also had the people involved in our Writing Competition there to explain a little more about what's happening. With cash prizes, 1-2-1s with the judges and a slot at our Bourn Jammy open mic music event at the festival, the competition supports marginalised writers in Boscombe through The Outsider's Project.
