The Bournemouth Writing Festival 2024 invited international students studying in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to showcase their literary talents in a beach-themed competition titled "On Bournemouth Beach." Open to students aged 16 and studying at one of the area's educational establishments, the competition featured four language-level categories, with winners receiving a £100 Bournemouth Gift Card. Participants also benefited from a free creative writing workshop at Bayswater Bournemouth during the festival. Judges Chris Aziz and Gary Dalkin reviewed the entries.
